Fishers Event Center

The newest arena in central Indiana, and the reason a Hamilton County suburb now competes for tours that would once have gone straight downtown. The Fishers Event Center opened in late 2024 in the Fishers District and books at a scale nothing else north of Indianapolis can match.

Quick Facts

  • Where: 11000 Stockdale Street, Fishers (Fishers District)
  • Music: Major touring acts — country, bluegrass, rock, contemporary Christian
  • Live music: Year-round but periodic; shares the building with three sports tenants
  • Website: fisherseventcenter.com

What to Expect

Capacity is 7,500, which puts it between a theater and a full arena — big enough for genuine headliners, small enough that the back of the room is still in the room. The building is owned by the City of Fishers and operated by ASM Global, and it cost roughly $170 million. Along with concerts it is home to the Indy Fuel hockey team, the Fishers Freight indoor football team, and the Indy Ignite volleyball team.

Practically speaking this is an easier night than a downtown show: over 2,000 parking spaces sit adjacent to the building, with more within walking distance, and the surrounding Fishers District has restaurants within a few minutes on foot. Concerts here are booked alongside the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater under a shared Fishers banner, so it is worth checking both calendars when you are looking for a show in town.
