The Amphitheater
Ruoff Music Center is the state’s major outdoor concert venue — roughly 24,000 capacity, and where the biggest summer tours land. It’s technically in Noblesville, which surprises people who assume it’s an Indianapolis room.
Free All Summer
Federal Hill Commons hosts Concerts at the Commons, the city’s biggest free series, on select Saturday evenings from June through September — national and regional acts, no gate, on a 6.5-acre park just across the river from the downtown square. Dillon Park adds free Thursday concerts.

Syd’s Bar & Grill is the downtown standby for local bands, and it’s a short walk from the square.
