What to Expect
The Corn Crib is the hotel bar, and it behaves like one in the best way: no cover, no ticket, no plan required. The room is small and the stage is close, so a Thursday night at the Hill Folk series feels less like a concert than like sitting in someone’s living room while they work through a set.
The Wednesday open mic runs 6 to 9 with a rotating host and draws a mix of locals and visitors, which makes it unusually welcoming for a mic in a tourist town. Weekends are louder — full bands from 8 to 11, covering acoustic and folk through rock and blues depending on who is booked.
Because the lounge opens onto the Harvest Dining Room, families eating dinner can hear the music without going into the 21+ side. That is a rarer arrangement than it sounds, and it is the reason this room works for a wider range of nights out than most bars with a stage.
