Four D’s is a neighbourhood bar on the northwest side of Fort Wayne, split across two halves with the band end raised about three steps above the rest. It is not a separate floor — you can see and hear the stage from the lower half, but the far end of the bar stays a place you can hold a conversation. It has been in business since 2002, it is open until 3 a.m. on weekends, and its own Facebook page calls it a Fort Wayne hot spot for live entertainment. Between the bands and the karaoke nights, something is usually happening.

What to Expect
The raised end is where the stage is, and it gets loud and busy when a band is on. The lower half runs quieter — televisions, conversation, a bar with a reputation for doing more than pour beer. That layout means you can bring a group that does not all want the same night out, which is rarer than it should be.
It is a neighbourhood bar rather than a listening room. The bands are working local acts playing to people who came out to have a night, not to stand still and watch. Kitchen runs late, the sliders have a following, and there is a patio for warm evenings.
Four D’s sits off Till Road between Bethel and Lima, a few minutes from I-69 on the northwest side — well away from the downtown cluster of Baker Street Centre, The Brass Rail and Club Soda. Free parking in its own lot — and the raised end where the band plays has its own entrance with a ramp from the lot, so you do not have to take the interior steps to reach the stage side.
One note on finding it: some directories still list Four D’s on West Dupont Road. The bar is on West Till Road. We checked the address in person.
