Crown Point runs its live music the way a county seat should: on the courthouse square, mostly free, and tied to the events people already come downtown for. The Franciscan Health Amphitheater at Bulldog Park is the stage, and the city programmes it through the warm months on Tuesdays alongside the Car Cruise and at festivals through the fall.
Note: this is Central time country — an hour behind Indianapolis. A show listed at 8 p.m. here starts at 9 p.m. by an Indy clock.
Summer Concert Series
Free concerts on the amphitheater lawn in the heart of downtown. Remaining 2026 dates:
- Friday, September 11 — Patriot’s Day
- Saturday, September 12 — Wine Fest (ticketed), with Together playing R&B, funk and dance 6:30–8:45 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 29 — final Car Cruise of 2026, with Badten & Burrell of Gerhart playing acoustic rock 4:15–5:15 p.m.
- Saturday, October 3 — Oktoberfest
Bulldog Park also hosts larger ticketed bills booked by Hometown Jams, the promoter that programmes several rooms across the region.
Crown Brewing
Crown Brewing is the town’s brewery and a fixture at regional events — it pours the beer garden at the Winfield Harvest Festival down the road. Worth checking their own calendar for taproom music.
Winfield Harvest Festival
Saturday, September 19, noon to 7 p.m., free. Randolph Street Park in Winfield, ten minutes east. Live music in a family entertainment area, a 21+ beer garden, fifty-plus vendor booths and food trucks. It is one of the largest community events in this part of the state. More on our Indiana festivals page.
Nearby
Valparaiso is twenty minutes east with an 1893 opera house and a downtown amphitheater. The casino rooms in Gary, Hammond and Michigan City, plus the Hobart Art Theater, are on our northwest Indiana page. See what is on statewide this week in our weekly guide.
