Blind Owl is a brewery and scratch kitchen on East 62nd Street on the north side, and since the 2025 ownership change and patio rebuild it has become one of the most dependable weekend music rooms in that part of town. Live music every Friday and Saturday, starting early enough that you can eat, see a band and be home by ten. It is a restaurant first — kids are fine — and the music happens around dinner rather than after it.

What to Expect
A big, casual neighborhood brewpub — 26 taps of German-leaning house beer, a full scratch kitchen, televisions — that has been on this corner since 2015. The Berg family bought it outright in 2025 and rebuilt the outdoor side: a covered main patio that seats about a hundred, a smaller private patio, bocce, cornhole, fire pits, and a stage. In season the bands play out there; the rest of the year the music moves inside.
The 6:30 start is the thing to know. This is a dinner-and-a-band room, not a late night — by the time the band finishes, the kitchen is closing. Expect familiar songs played well: the weekend bills run to cover bands and classic rock, with acoustic duos mixed in. Weeknights are quieter, though the odd Thursday show turns up.
It sits on East 62nd on the north side, a few minutes off Binford Boulevard and an easy drive from Castleton, Nora and the northeast suburbs. If you are coming from Fishers or Carmel it is closer than downtown.
